Crossroads Theatre Company

Founded in 1978 by Ricardo Khan and L. Kenneth Richardson in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the Crossroads Theatre Company made history by becoming New Jersey's first professional theatre devoted to developing and producing works that built upon the African American theatrical canon. And upon that foundation, Crossroads built a national reputation for excellence, innovation and artistic courage, and created a focused presence for Black Theatre and culture unlike any other theatre of its generation.
